I tried search for the key term "closing" and it says "SYSTEM ERROR" "We are sorry, it appears that something went wrong. Please try again later." I am assuming there's a big announcement coming today?

So if a website goes down, it means the company is closing? Stop finding all kinds of ways to hope and plead with the gods for the company to shut down. It will do that when it does that. If you want another job, search and apply for it. If you were let go by Sears/Kmart in the past and this is a somewhat understandable desire to get back at them by seeing it all end, then fine. But you still have to wait. Don't start posting about putting you ear to a railroad track and hearing someone 50 miles away tapping out in Morse Code "Here it comes. Here it comes", because odds are it is something else coming on those tracks...
