Russ Girling’s promise leaves with him

Right as he announced his retirement, the ELT goes back on his word for no personnel cuts in 2020, in the midst of a pandemic. Breaking this promise will tarnish the company’s image for years to come. The pseudo pay-cuts from taking away days off are one thing...but why cut people when our revenues and contracts are not changing? Giving our loyalty to the company does not get rewarded and they break out trust. Nice going TC

I worked for TC as a core employee for over 35 years in operations and major projects in three countries. Contract for three more after that. I survived attrition several times but then it jumped up and bit my a–.

The process s—s and as the good people leave the company many heartless souls are brought in to do their jobs of run it lean.

I understand the process and that it is required. The concern is always those that make the decisions on the future lively hood of employees and have the financial security to perform the attrition as they go and then move on to their next big adventure.

The saddest point of all is once gone you are forgotten and it eats at your soul how after spending so many hours of dedication it is up-up and away.

With new leadership comes change. With TC this happens far to often to destroy employees hopes and dreams!

everyone was there for the same reason, why expect the execs (senior Vps, VPs, jr. VPs, jr. jr. Vps, sr. directors, etc.) to take care of the legions of managers, senior analysts, & analysts. everyone is out to get paid, not get you paid, get themselves paid.
they aren't pumping the stock, because no one is buying the stock. we moved into this industry to make money, and now we don't make the same kinda money. why keep us? To keep their promise? when was the last time a promise was kept, a promotion given to someone who deserved it.

Well he’s not doing a very good job pumping the stock. This guy has always seemed quite fake.

It’s Russ 100%. He’s trying to pump the stock so he can cash his millions in options.
