They’ve just opened the application for 2021 cohort. Thoughts? It’s a bit weird that no funding is given in exchange for the 5% equity diluted.

It’s similar to the Cameron,TX Testwell that can be rented/used for the right price. Just a way to generate revenues from an asset w/o a pulse.
Obviously the labs and associated resources are the “funding in kind”. I’m not confident that this will succeed in bringing new innovations to Halliburton. As an exHalliburton researcher I found my BUs to be really stifling and where inspiration and creativity went to die...... Halliburton will survive but I think in terms of creativity , they’ll be in a very diminished form for years to come.
Must be what they teach in a Rice MBA.
