Layoffs coming to sales?

VPs in MAS (and maybe other BUs?) have been dropping like flies since the start of the year and communication from upper management is nonexistent. Why have all these VPs been leaving? Some people have had 3 bosses this year without a single intro call with any of them on Webex. No one feels like they know what their roles are going to be because things keep getting moved around inside and reps are starting to get nervous. There is so little opportunity for new logos right now and you can only upsell clients for so long when their service reps keep ghosting them and their headcounts are down due to covid. Does ADP even still have service reps or did they get outsourced? I have heard that several teams are being outsourced.

Anyone hear anything about Inside Sales or the field?

Any more news about sales?

My team was eliminated. Others being shuffled. Whole company is a house of cards.

Kudos Carlos - fire all of Sales! Should help you justify your multi-million dollar bonus in your mind while the company goes down in flames!

seems inside sales brought in half the field who don't know how inside sales works and are trying to squeeze as many heads as possible. Better to start looking now instead of waiting for the announcement that your position was eliminated.

I second that! Who the hell cares? Carlos needs to go down in flames just like ADP and his grand plan is doing!

Who cares? Really who the hell cares? ADP is a joke now! The "management" is absolutely the worst I have ever personally seen in my 48 years!

There are only 255 sales jobs of the 507 open positions in the USA...

Hard to sell ADP when the competition has better products, service, and lower prices. Used to be able to count on the ADP name as a major selling feature but those days are gone.

There is a new leader running Inside Sales and he has pulled in several field sales leaders, removing many of the leaders that have been in Inside Sales for years. Just as concerning is how many female leaders have left the company in the past year. There once was a time when Inside Sales was loaded with talented female leadership and almost all of them have either been removed or left on their own terms. Very unfortunate to see.
