Does anyone know of upcoming layoffs in the finance org for RMD? There's alot of redundancy between legacy IDS and MS roles, and some of stuff they are rolling out is sketchy as f*ck. CAMs, are no longer on the hook for programs, the IPT/CPTs are. Basically you can get rid of the CAMs and there's no record of them being accountable for the job they do. Also, they shuffled engineers into the finance org, a lot of them were part of finance rotations and are not being allowed back into engineering. They have to apply to get their jobs back. I've seen people change to Supply Chain or just quit.

If you have a specific program you work on I'd think you'd be okay. There likely isn't the same program within IDS. Unless you find yourself with a lot of free time, then they could give your program to someone who can handle working more programs at once...
Redundancy will equal layoffs. Not just in the finance department but in IT, HR. etc. With the BU mergers they dont need two of everything. Just depends on wh ok they want to keep but my guess is the younger guys who make less. The older workers make more so are expendable.
The Supply Chain rotators were given a choice to either stay in SC permanently or look for an eng position within the company back in the summer. Many were scared and went back to eng while others left the company. Dunno about finance but both are indirect so I think its a matter of time before layoffs start making their way.
