What will the new rxom position pay?

Already happened in my store. I had 4 techs apply for the RXOM position and all 3 were offered and they are given 48 hours to accept and they did. If the store they are going to is under budget... I get no replacement, they have left me 120 hours under budget and all of my great techs are now gone! What were they thinking? Florida store here.

ASM will be given a new title (ESM) with a limit of maybe 1-3 per DISTRICT must be PTCB certified. ESM can float between stores. They're re-inventing a sims coordinator now called an inventory specialist. Current ASM may apply for new position, quit, or apply for another position with reduced pay such as SFL. On the pharmacy side a new role RxOM will be made and comes with same requirement as SCPhT (1 year tech exp with wags and PTCB certified). The RxOM will manage ALL techs and be responsible for metrics. It basically looks as if they're focusing more on Pharmacy where the money is.

Sfl is not being touched.
Asmt n Asm is gone.Reddit rumours are true the Asmt Asm meeting was today. Depending on what district your in.The avail positions will vary .Lots of ship jumpers today coming out of the gate ,which cuts down who will be left
We were told the new positions Usm,Esm Rxom will be offered to high performers and we do not apply or interview.Also that those not offered a spot will be demoted to SFL, IC position or CSA.

Will there still be a RXM?

My store manager told me today that the district manager sent out the info for the role refresh. Asm and ASMT will no longer be a position. You can move into the RX operations manager position which is basically store manager in training or you can move into the inventory position. These changes take effect in February. If you haven't made a choice by June 2021 you will be laid off.

What happens if your store has 2 ASMs and 3 shift leads . Who does what?

It's definitely true. SM's will be talking to ASM and shiftleadsfirst and then down the line to inform everyone at the store. I found out on Reddit and then questioned my manager and he conceded...it's true. Three positions available...ESM, RXOM and some sort of inventory position. So, yes...all of our hard work will have been discarded by mid next year. I wish all luck...I'm having a hard time with the info.

All Asms, even the sh– ones, its time to do whatever you can to sabotage the company. That can mean anything, but here's some ideas, not that I would do any of things, but if if I did these are some things i would do. you can let people know what walgreens did to you especially online. You can try to get a union in your store, just so walgreens is forced to spend money to stop the union. You can educate the public on how easy it is to steal or just steal yourself. You can probably find someone who could make good use of keys to the various lockboxes.

What will happen to banked pto? It was earned at current pay level. Now assuming will be paid out at reduced salary. Also, what about current company life insurance? Is that gone also? I've got 15 years in. Nothing like rewarding loyalty.

ASM has been 1506'd

For those following. That home conference call was to inform the store managers that the ASM and ASM-T positions are being eliminated and those currently in the role will either have to take a demotion to SFL or accept a severance package.

Iam an asm . Iam aware of that big home meeting from the other day but have no idea what is going on. All I got from this post is growing us up or down or out .If ptcb is no longer going to be a requirement then all asm's should get a store and a raise.? How would this work to get to be an actual store manager then? I have worked my butt off to get an opportunity so now what ?anyone have anything concrete?I would love to hear from Current Store Managers.

Is the 11/10 date true? Southern regions are doing it on the 12th. I was already looking for jobs, this may be just the push needed. PS the rumors in the Reddit are WILD. I know for sure ASMT is going, and PTCB requirements will be removed unless state requires.

It's been broken for quite awhile. Taking a company so we'll established like Walgreens and turning it into something that it wasn't meant to be is like hammering the last mail in the coffin. CRW must be rolling over in his grave seeing what has been made of his company. The core values. The 4-way test. The treatment of those who have been so loyal to his memory and what he created.

Man, this is going to be a blood bath. No bonuses either. At least at CVS the SMs still get bonuses. All c-appy places to work but at least you get paid more

How do you know foe sure that these changes for SMs and ASMs are true and accurate? Those are some serious claims you are making.

What are the sources on the managers going to 3 stores?

How would that even work? Would some managers get demoted and some get to retain pay but take on 3 stores? If that's the case they can keep it!

I heard there would be an announcement today? Anyone hear anything? Something about SMs becoming Tripod leaders, covering 3 stores? Yikes

How can there be a limit on ASM's? There wouldn't be enough openings for asm's to move up and with extremely high turnover in the sfl ranks there wouldn't be enough qualified people to move up to asms and with csa's making a buck or two less plus being part time there wouldn't be enough csa's to replace promoted sfls

Is this confirmed? Also any word on if CL position is actually coming back?

One of the changes is that ASM's will have a 2 year limit. Either move up, down, or out. Ptcb is not required anymore so as to flush the pipes a bit of stagnant ASMs and asmt's who want to move up. A big move to save costs.

Any more news surrounding this? What are we to do after the call? Do we go back to work or is this their way of laying us off?

I heard that CL and Sims are coming back. Shift lead position will be renamed.

I'm wondering if the role refresh is just literally store managers, or there will be changes to the ASM and SFL as well?
