They just announced Europe, sounds like 20% overall, some pretty deep cuts with F&L, though. What about the US? Will we hear this week, next week, or sometime after?

Anyone ranked other than excellent or outstanding should plan on being shown the door. If not this year next. The internal mafia will protect their own.
No, US numbers aren’t going to look better. PIP was the appetizer. Now it is time for the main course. Dessert will follow. We’ve only just begun.
My guess is Nov 2 after the PIP and NSI people who chose to retire (no PIL) leave no later than Oct 30.

The U.S. is a target rich environment for further cuts. Wacking the 10% in the NI group would get us to almost 20% in the U.S. Next year, those who were rated Good this year will slide down to NI and be told they are pieces of dooty. And round and round it goes...
For comparison.. Are US numbers going to look "better" due to so many people let go via PIP?
They are “proposed” because in EU they have to be approved by local governments unlike other 3rd world countries we operate
Why do we have so many U.K. expats in Leadership roles here in US? Many capable US folks can do the job. Send them back.
Management just announced business update for Europe in an email to Houston employees. The term proposed changes was used. Evidently they could not use terms like staff reductions or layoffs. All Houston employees know is that there were changes announced to make us more efficient and competitive, nothing more. Obviously, the email was to get something out before it was read on this site.
