Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Most k mart managers steal time. All day i watch these so called managers sit,smoke, eat repeat.. the real theft we are after is them.

@3onx+17gqXWno It is because employees are not allowed to do anything to the prevent it. Well, the only real thing you can do is sorta be "nice" to them and say, "Oh, sir or madam, you had this in your cart, do you want me to scan this as well?" But for the most part, you can't call them out on it, can't touch them, nothing (especially here in CA).

I was at a Walmart and watched a couple walk right out the door with a brand new bicycle. I told a couple of employees and they didn’t care. Said it happens all the time. Wonder how much cheaper products could be if they actually prevented theft.

The stores will close with the assistance of loss prevention. Google k mart/Sears management or employee theft and understand why.

Sadly, most retail companies do not care about external shrink. They consider shoplifting to be the cost of doing business. In reality the only shrink most retailers care about is internal shrink.

We are looking at management internal theft. External theft is a small portion of shrink .

I hit a couple kmarts on the east coast pretty hard the last few weeks and encountered no LP.

No other inbound inventory at all?

So it sounds like we (they) are giving up the ghost this holiday.

Posts like these...just name the store. Why not?! Kmart? Sears? What state? See nobody can believe these tales if there’s no actual evidence to point in a direction to prove it.
