No inventory. No holiday marketing plan. No traffic. No online order program. No quality management and current ones tired, worn out ,No corporate direction,No announced closings with 10 weeks of holiday traffic,Multiple reports of covid in k mart stores.

The only thing that can be done is............

Why pay liquidation fees with no inventory....why pay fixture sales fees with few buyers. The stores will wind down slowly with the loss prevention team leading. No one wants to work in this covid environment on furlough and will not return to transformco. Transfers under the direction of lp will shrink the footprint to a few then gone. It makes sense as stores have zero inventory and zero traffic except for people seeking to take advantage of the situation.. no more lists or closings its to late and in the election environment it is to hard.

Jersey city. Not winding down official just selling store fixtures and equipment if we can. Zero inventory, no holiday plan at all. Thinking we sell down and transfer goods.

It would be helpful if you mentioned the store you are winding down without liquidators.

Our manager was given green light to sell fixtures including forklifts and balers. She said no inventory no liquidation and we wind down ourselves. We still have security and she is helping log sales. I guess the liquidation people get 15 percent so we save that cost. We have very little inventory here up North

Stop the troll stuff.

Think about it clearly. It makes sense for loss prevention to be making the decisions now. They can be classified as first responders and move from state to,state and monitor closings via cctv. Lots of losses out there such as shop your way points theft, shoplifting and overall new employees stealing. My guess is no liquidation but jsut wind down and closeout.

The end is near. Leadership has disappeared, cowards. The LP troll on here, if they’re right, and LP is running the show....it’s over. Quick liquidation and closures before the end of the year. The only thing that will exist for evermore, Eddie’s pathetic reputation as a colossal failure in leadership and his destruction of an icon.

If they're offering the full(er) severance now, I'd like a four month paid vacation too, pretty please.

I work from home for Sears Home Services. (A&E) If this is true, please send me this e-mail and make me this offer of unemployment. I'll be the first in line. This place is just pathetic and it's not getting any better.

Important Update for Retail Store and Auto Center Furloughed Associates: Action Required

As we communicated on August 28, 2020, we anticipated the furlough to last at least through September 30, 2020. Since then, the economic effects of COVID-19 have continued to impact the US economy and, as a result, our company operations. The Transformco leadership team has been taking an even closer look at our business and has carefully explored all options available to us. Your furlough is being extended until November 15, 2020 and there will be no further extensions. You may be called back before that date as positions become available within your store.

THIS LETTER REQUIRES IMMEDIATE ACTION.

As a furloughed associate, you are required to complete a Furlough Return to Work Survey (http://example.com/furloughrtwsurvey) no later than October 15, 2020. On the survey, you will indicate your interest in returning to work and any updated availability, or you may submit your voluntary resignation. Failure to submit a survey prior to October 15, 2020 will result in your immediate voluntary resignation effective October 17, 2020.

Store leadership will use these survey results as positions become available. Your store general manager will notify you prior to November 15, 2020 if a position is available for you.

Please submit your Furlough Return to Work Survey as soon as possible and no later than October 15, 2020. If you need assistance completing this survey or if you have any questions, please contact your store general manager.

While we realize that extending the furlough is not the news you had hoped for, these are difficult decisions we are forced to continue to make given these unprecedented times.

Furloughed associates will continue paying premiums at active associate rates for continued participation in medical, dental, vision, optional life insurance, long-term disability, accident and critical illness coverage.

As a reminder, you are eligible to take advantage of unemployment and other state and national relief programs where available while on furlough. In order to assist you in applying for benefits that may be available to you, please reference www.dol.gov or call 1-866-487-2365.

Our continued thanks to you and all associates.
