Story Tellers

I have seen some stories on here but the lies this week on this page are really sick.

Welcome to the party pal. Not a surprise, RQD's Ego is self sustaining, it doesn't need knowledge, achievement, competence or results to exist and grow.

I had more first mtg with her recently. Quite the ego for someone with no furniture knowledge.

If it’s not on LinkedIn it’s not RQD. She doesn’t care about the business.

For someone to say beat ODP and hold the line against Amazon- this is someone completely out of touch of the business. ODP was beaten by Staples years ago and Staples isn’t even close to holding a line to Amazon. Please tell me this is not someone in a high position stating this. If so, Staples is doomed with this commentary. And diversity please- rhetoric only and do share where their has been innovation and please don’t say the Staples Brands.

SPLS is a great company which is truly innovating. We will beat ODP and hold the line against Amazon. I could not be more proud of my colleagues and our unique corporate culture, which values diversity and innovation!!

Prove the story tellers wrong then. Set a strategy and stick to it, appreciate those that are doing the work and not just kissing up or tearing others down to promote themselves. Be Innovative and actually get focused on the business and lead a company we can all be proud of again.

I’m guessing whoever made this post is at the SLT level or close to it. If the company wasn’t in so much turmoil the past few years with nonstop layoffs, restructurings, and strategy changes I could maybe see your point. But that isn’t the case. Everyone working here is always waiting for the next shoe to drop even under the immense workload and constant pressure. The pressure being that no matter what is done or how well you perform it is NEVER enough. Give it a few months and you’ll receive even more work from your colleagues that are eventually laid off, your new expectations are never met, and the higher ups from all departments will ensure you feel it and know it. Get a reality check please.
