Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Any thoughts on the bonus implications of the current restructuring?

To my mind as we gain more efficiency and decrease the costs, while keeping the customer subscription flows only slightly touched, the bonus pool may get bigger? What do you think? Good times ahead for those who keep cool?

I’m sure the executives will be well compensated to sit in their ivory tower while the rest of us mere mortals get a c-appy severance package

New executives totals comp packages are not cheap. Additional executive roles have been added. I would be surprised if much is offered in the bonus pool.

Cutting employees is such hard work. Management is really earning their bonus this year.

I think bonuses will stay the same....its a big part of our compensation structure. Now we probably won't get raises next year but that is probably true for most companies in the world
