Just called 88sears for an update on the furlough and they have nothing. They cant even tell me who is the current HR coordinator. Why you say...its cause I called someone from f—ing India. You lay off people in the United states and pay people from another country. Way to go Eddie this is how you support your employees. You could have kept half of these jobs the other day and let the people in the other countries find work where they live. Not take our jobs.

Email that furloughs are extended to Nov 15th. It also says this will be the last extension.
I don’t doubt it happens, but every Sears or Kmart I’ve gone to, the associate had me enter my phone number. If a customer doesn’t have an account, who cares if the associate uses their own account? It’s not like they are doubling up on points. The points are going to someONE.
I heard managers will sell fixtures. No inventory no liquidation and stores selling whats left themselves.

Shop your way points.. points given to members for purchases....a huge theft issue at store as employess ring up under their own shop your way membership and stealing the points... points can be used for discounts.... lp is all over this at Hoffman estates as its costing millions each quarter
Kmart lp here....now that we've taken over you have to understand that we know everything. Including some of us who were severenced this week. So not all kmart LP are around anymore
You do realize Sears has been outsourcing jobs to India for at least 20 years right? Started with IT then moved to business functions such as HR and call centers. Sears Holdings India was formed during pre Eddie era for the sole purpose of moving jobs offshore and when that got too expensive, Tata Consultancy Services was brought in to finish off a good chunk of IT. Thousands of high paying jobs were sent overseas in favor of cheap, low quality labor from India. We made a comment in a meeting with the CIO of the month once that an American Sears IT worker can do the work of 4 India IT workers only to be told by Sr. management that it’s still cheaper to hire four people from India. Unfortunately this is a common practice in many large corporations. SHC for the win!

First goal is to reduce shop your way theft,tools not marked out of stock and watching staff in fine jewelry.. we are first responders and should be respected as such.
