I'm guessing furlough since I still haven't received an e-mail. Any news?

When I got severance in May it was capped at up to 8 weeks for full time only peons no matter how many years you worked over 8. Managers were capped at 20, Leads were not considered managers.
Is the guy who calls the media telling them about the cuts going on this week?
I was laid off in earlier group. Severance worked like this:
*Payment WAS NOT lump sum. Paid on same schedule as normal pay (twice a month, 15th and last day of month)
*Severance was based on service time, one week for each year, capped at 20 weeks
Is severance paid over time or lump sum?
Same here, waiting for the severance package email. How does the severance work? I was at corporate for 10 years... how many weeks would I get?
Starting to morrow, I will be terminated with a severance package. Minimum is 6 weeks and max 20 weeks. Not sure why I don't get maximum. At least I will get something. I'm grateful.
I got an email saying my furloughed until November 30th.
Its oct 1st any not everyone who received the last furloughed email received this new one. So does that mean they head back to work. Come on HR get your sh– together

When we last communicated on August 28, 2020, we anticipated the furlough to last through
September 30, 2020. Since then, the economic effects of COVID-19 have continued to impact
the US economy and, as a result, our company operations.

from allowing all furloughed associates to return to work and we have made the decision to
eliminate a number of positions across the organization. As a result, your position has been
eliminated and your last day of employment will be October 2, 2020.
The decision to reduce staff was an extremely difficult one given the years of service and
dedication demonstrated by so many of our associates. It is deeply unfortunate, but the current
environment makes these actions unavoidable.
We have prepared a detailed transition package and your individual documents will be emailed
to you by the end of this week. The transition package will cover your severance details in
addition to instructions on how to return company assets and retrieve your personal
