Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

Hey Airbus....

Hey Airbus....Washington wants you.
Come to Puget Sound and take advantage of the skilled workforce that Boeing is walking away from. Take advantage of the millions of dollars Boeing, and WA has spent each year building and improving the pipeline of new aerospace employees and college programs that continue to feed the beast.
Hell, there are employees that won’t get laid off that would jump ship if an alternative to Boeing came around.

Airbus....are you paying attention?......
Come to Washington, we have cookies....

Do airlines still want 787s built in South Carolina ?

How much longer will 767 line be running ?

There was a time when the rumors floating around McDonell Douglas were that Boeing was going to take over. Many saw that as way to much of a fake rumor. That was seen as almost impossible since during its reign Douglas was a legend.

Let's see
787 is gone
747 has less than a dozen orders to fill
777x - nobody wants this big twin instead will opt for 787
Only thing left is 67 tankers and military.
Now airbus may not buy everett, but there are plenty other suiters.
Point is Boeing can get by with a fraction of the footprint

There on their way, been part of plans all along. Airbus will scoop up what's left of everett, with a little retooling it would be an ideal fit. Boeing is looking to liquidate and generate cash. It won't stop there. We were recently informed a drone was hired to do survey of fredrickson, my guess real estate development or selling entire facility to sub. Writing on wall.

Yep. Boeing just gave us a big F— YOU today with their announcement that the Cousin F—ers will now build the 787 exclusively in the land of the poorly trained and uneducated.

North Carolina and Alabama treat Airbus wayyy too good for them to even consider coming up here! Why would they leave the warm South to pay higher rent, taxes and wages? Not to mention, worse traffic and weather along with all the meth heads that are moving in up here

let's see, Puget Sound has defunded police, it champions corrupt union bosses and is completely unaffordable for the 99%. The only area where Puget Sound excels is attracting homeless. No one actually believes the "talent pipeline" argument, the best students in Washington are following the money to tech company jobs - no young people are looking to get into Boeing careers anymore
