Thread regarding Alliance Data Systems Corp. layoffs

Next Stap

Alliance Data is planning on selling its computer system to a 3rd party and the I.T. and Reynoldsburg site is going to close. So expect another round of lay offs. The infrastructure is old, and out dated. So it's coming.

I can't wait to get my Christmas present from ADS. Maybe I'll get a nice severance package, hopefully my team will receive the same. If not by Christmas, definitely first-quarter something is going to happen.

Falcon, vulcan-who cares. People are going to be out of jobs. That's the bottom line. ADS is a sad place right now, and it's understandable that the have to do this to survive. M.M. and all her buddies let all of us down. I how she's enjoying life. I hope karma comes back with a vengeance. And for the last person to call people names. That's not called for. There is enough negativity in this world including ADS. Don't need you to add to it.

Project "Falcon"... LOL. Some of you mo–ns deserve to be unemployed. It's project VULCAN – a two year planned transition to Fiserv for credit card processing. No one is losing their job in the immediate future as this project will be a cluster that goes on for years.

SLA is the acronym for service level agreement. In laymen terms it’s the timeframe something (any action by the business) must be completed by in order to adhere to the stated SLAs in a policy, procedure, contract, etc.

Maybe if you had the name right the person below would have known what you were referencing. It’s project Vulcan. Not falcon.

Try again management team to buy some more time by trying to lie to us instead of telling the truth and stretch this out till 2021. At this pace you will be missing several sla’s once people have had enough of your sh!t and you are trying to get mail out the door with half the staff. More call offs incoming while we search for new jobs.

I have a source that says you are an id–t and that was called project flash. Go try to trick other people that you think are dumber than you.

Project falcon is now common, public knowledge. It’s not some hidden top secret scheme. Project falcon was the deconversion of the Wayfair PLCC and transitioning some of those cardholders over to Comenity MasterCard. Quit spewing false information into the world and freaking people out.

Kim Sims that was in charge of the Response Center quit, so that tells me what direction the company is going. He was loyal, and loved ADS. I believe He left because he knew something was coming. All ADS associates should do what is right for you and your family. It might be OK, and it might not be. There's alot of WHAT IF'S. I don't think I can wait. But they also might give a nice severance package too. So it's a toss up. I just don't know anymore.

Since ADS can't back their employees, I am looking else where. It's scary and I can't wait to be let go. For my family's sake. ADS is a joke!! BEST PLACE TO WORK- My a–! The amount of stress is deplorable and I'm not putting up with it.

Management needs to own up and tell us ASAP. People are frightened and rightfully so. Very disappointed in this company’s leadership right now.

If ADS can't be adults and tell us, I feel anyone who knows anything should let it out and help those of us still working here can have more time to find another job. Everyone at ADS in Reynoldsburg would be eternally greatful... WE ARE LISTENING thanks to this site. PLEASE SOMEONE tell us atleast a rough estimate when they expect this to happen? January 1st? Feb? Next month?

The cat is out of the bag, they need to let everybody know what the plan is. This is the worst time of the year for layoffs and people need as much notice as possible to find another job. It sounds like all areas of the business are at risk. It is disgusting to attempt to keep up appearances because somebody leaked info ahead of your schedule. Do the right thing for once ADS.

The question was asked about outsourcing the only answer given was that they are looking into all aspects of the business.

Where did anyone read or hear about that they are selling to a third party? Is there an article somewhere?

So much for “we will be transparent as possible through these difficult times” Such great senior leadership. The supervisors are the greatest but a couple senior leaders are far from it. Private appointments, working from home every other day and still don’t know what’s going on? Ok. Liars.

Is there a better way to say it? No matter what "Term" or sentence you use, it means lay offs and people out of jobs! Associates use blood sweat and tears to keep ADS afloat. And it ALWAYS ends up with people without jobs. That's the sad part. That's the "better way"to say it. It would be better if ADS would just man up, and be honest instead of keeping eventing hush hush and having associates stress over it they have a job tomorrow.

The better way to say this is outsourcing its core IT platform to a 3rd party. Most all banks use 3rd parties for the credit card processing, statement production, lockbox and many other things we do in-house.

Sounds about right. Punish the only people that have came to work day in and day out during this “pandemic” and let all the other people work from home and do half the work for double the money saving the company nothing.
