Lately, our department/team has been getting a lot of last minute requests to complete information for leadership to pull reports on the data. Did this happen to anyone else before a lay-off happened? Just seems like they are searching for something.

They had us running reports day and night. All urgent, and when asked questions, became evasive and body language of BS. Run from that place. Youre better than this. Already have a few offers and will be gone shortly. Good luck to all in that corporate cess pool

Yes, and some of the requests didn't make a ton of sense (asking me to document tasks and schedules for people who should have been aware of those things). Just for fun, I called one of the people I was supposedly gathering data for and she knew nothing. So management was lying about what/who it was for.
YES! Tons of requests for data, urgency, etc... from the middle management simps.
Yes, have been getting them, too. And they all seem to be "urgent". Makes you wonder.

Good point. We have seen the same and it is disconcerting to say the least. How many meetings, who with, when??? Capacity checking in general.
My past has seen these things to be a sign so I’m waiting for the call.
