I was with the company for almost 9 years when I became a casualty of the last round of layoffs. I managed to find a new job since then but it was not easy. I was wondering how others who were impacted are doing? Did anyone reapply for their position (or something different) and were you accepted as a rehire? For those who chose to move on as I did, were you able to find something comparable and if you did, are happy where you are now?

Laud off in April 2020, not called back. Re-employed in November. Different industry, much better company.
Took a long time. It was hard finding a job for months but thankfully I had unemployment to help. Got a job which didn’t pay as well but I hope I can get enough experience in this new industry to promote in the future
I was laid off in April and have since applied for over 100 jobs that I have years of exact or similar experience doing so not like I’m not qualified or overly qualified for but still no luck, it’s been awful. I am in the process of interviewing with a different position at Enterprise That I saw posted, not sure what to expect.
I was laid off in the first round in April. I was offered a rehire in June, but declined. The business is too volatile during a pandemic that is certain to continue for a very long time. Job security in the rental car industry just isn't there. I've chosen to retire.
I was laid-off but was called back.
