They’ve extended some grades already recently, as I got extended as a QT at the EMC. I don’t trust the company but I think they are trying to not go crazy with layoffs as they learned in 2013 that a decent amount won’t return.

I mentioned in another thread I think it depends on the Max reinstatement and what comes of the 777 reduction in January. The 787, if it ends up going to Carolina, won’t happen that quickly I’d think. But the impact will still hurt.

Just my thoughts and hope.

No one knows the number except for people at very top.

From now to march i am guessing 10k people easily specially with 787 moving to bsc

advice:
Get out now, before the others hit the street. I left long ago and never looked back.
It's a big world out there, you can leave the sinking ship and land on your feet.
