Amazon jumps into pharmacy business - bad news?

Now Amazon has announced entry into the RX business, I wonder how all this will reflect on Walgreens. The media is already writing about the impacts and how they will be disruptive, but some believe that they may not be disruptive in the competitive retail pharmacy sector. What do you think? What does this bring us?

This article summarises the views of some analysts:

I agree with the above comment, I work in the call center and there are so many improvements that could and should be made to the pharmacy but there's no avenue to even report these things. It is also too compartmentalized, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. There's no communication and hardly any improvements. Walgreens is going to suffer for their complacency

In my opinion, Amazon has a real opportunity to take business from Walgreens in the area of home delivery of pr-scrip-ions. Consumer reviews for AllianceRX Walgreens Prime Home Delivery show dissatisfaction with the service Walgreens offers. Additionally, Amazon can afford losses to establish market share.
