Any news on what is going on with marketing and merchandising for SBA and Staples Canada?

Marketing is done. Merchandising is coming this month.
JG to replace JH? He was on SD video call. JH not engaged or front and center. Intentional move by SD? Good move if so
It has been announced that they are looking at the structure of both businesses - Staples typically gets all the changes done before the end of the fiscal year so the new year starts off right. They have done layoffs in November and in January. Marketing at SBA is gutted already, and is very specific to B2B so not much more to cut there. Merchandising should be concerned - lots of overlap with the Staples Canada group. Expect to see 1/4 of the team gone.

Who knows anymore. So far rumors have been false but wouldn’t be shocked if by next month they start cuts
