Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Ubiquitous Pathetic Employees: Supervisors, Managers, Fake Advisors, VPs, Project, Team Leads etc

There is nowhere else where you could find such pathetic and incompetent layers of management plus wanna be "leader" fake employees who are nothing but s-pit worthy! Not only these two set of employees have produced nothing, they have taken other sincere hard working talented employees to drainage through systematic promotion of worst of the worst in mankind.

ExxonMobil has now achieved ubiquitous layers of toxic people in UIS, EMIT, EMRE, CSR etc. all the way sitting as lowly team leads, supervisors, advisors to extremely dangerous and useless management (so called senior executives) in Dallas.

Check out Corporate Strategic Research (CSR in Clition, New Jersey). VP and every single section head, manager, and lab director is worst of the worst. I do not know how the company is surviving with so much filth and lies?

I still do not know why we need to have HR drawing high salaries and sharing about how to make us effective.. all the talks no actions.. they should make them show tangible results else fire them using the Performance Assessment.. as Karen said.. it’s a gift!

Agree that high CLs have a halo effect that self perpetuates. They move them so often they never have to live with their poor decisions, never learn anything to a deep level, and think their shallow level of understanding is all it takes. All they develop is the ability to request slide packs be made a certain color and contain zero typos. They don’t know enough to care about the actual content and ideas being communicated.

A lot of the problems go back to that ridiculous “potential” CL that they apply to employees when they first join the company.

If you have a high number (e.g. 32+), then it seems you are destined for very high level positions and nothing g is going to stop you. We’ve all seen it ...

If you have high potential, it doesn’t matter how bad your skills are in technology, engineering, sciences, communication, project management or anything useful. You are protected, you will always be ranked high and you will move on to your next position before you become accountable for the disasters that you leave behind.

It may not fix everything, but eliminating “potential” from every employees file would be a great first step in the right direction.

Don’t forget the revolving door of douche bags they put in charge of “Digital Transformation”.
Most of them have no clue what they talk about, to the point of being embarrassing.
Promoted to their maximum level of incompetence.
Shameless.
Disgraceful.

You all need to take a chill-pill and move on. EM does not need you.

@gkg agree!
I can’t find any UIS manager or executive in subsurface or in RTD who’s worth what they make. They all have been unsuccessful in their prior assignments, leaving devastation after them. They s— at communicating priorities, they barely understand technical details, and they seem powerless amid this chaos. Worse, most of them come across as being in denial or as uncaring.
Too much Koolaid, too much sponsorship, too little depth, too little leadership.

I do not understand why you stay if you hate the company so much. This will cause you to be sick.

Someone is very hate-filled. Relax, else you're going to have a heart attack at a young age.

UIS is the perfect representation of what happens when too many failed “leaders” smother an organization.
They have rendered technical expertise irrelevant because of their incompetence, ineptitude, wishful thinking, and greed.

I don’t think the company will change from inside unless some external pressure forces it to.
