@Post ID: @ejwc+17YOsiMG Maybe they should fire
A long time ago getting a promotion to an AVP or a VP used to mean something.
Your right they are now giving out to the friends of the higher up executives .
Maybe they should fire half the VPs who treat people like c-ap and pull in the most $. Moral and productivity would certainly increase. State Street gives out VP titles as candy to their best bullies.
All jobs with State Street in the United States are temporary. You want a permanent stable job with the company than move to India or Poland.
I'm surprised we were still using Summer Street. I always thought it was meant to be temporary.
Be prepared. Someone called in June with reduced US footprint and lay-off. Playing the COVID new workforce of future - BS. Should not be a big surprise to anyone layoffs are coming
Moving to unemployment office.
Where are these people moving to? Channel?
All I know is over the last 15 years they been not renewing their leases on some buildings.
To save money they been moving people to the remaining State Street offices in Mass.
Doing more with less...increase productivity with less resources. Writing on the wall.
Call it whatever you want but I say a 50% reduction in seats is a mass layoff. What do you think?
All okay moving not mass layoff.
