Hillary and team presented a pretty shallow RM. Appcenter, Unity, Essential (for cloud) and more are all gone. VCX is on life support... I didn’t see anything in our roadmap to get excited about—just a lot of scared PMs afraid of investing in anything...

Teradata takes "going back to the roots" very explicitly and plans NO further significant changes in its services, that made it successful. That would drive the cost down and at least give them few more years of a run before a glorious shut down. Definitely more realistic and financial profitable than starting to invest big buck with that DEV teams (with track record as we see) and this market competition (AWS/Azure/SF/ all others)
I think everyone saw right through that. No depth in the roadmap items; just glossed over which means there is no depth there.
