Is anyone that left back in July still waiting on vacation pay?

Received mine last week
For those who received vacation payout, does a portion get taken out for your 401k as usual? So say if your typical 401k contribution is 10%, does 10% of that vacation pay go into your savings plan?
Trying to plan for next year.
@1oub - how on earth did you manage to keep that many unused vacation days? Your PIL was nearly 4 months’ pay? That must be something like 70-80 unused vacation days! (Just wondering, as my bosses have always given my group a very hard time just trying to carry over 10 days)
@uov - I also received mine last Friday (November 13th), unexpectedly. Thanks for giving the phone number for ExxonMobil Benefits Admin and the menu options to get through to Payroll. I tried to get through to them a couple of times (to request a paper statement), but both times the hold function hung up on me automatically after about 14 minutes. However, anyone can try sending them an e-mail at payroll.assistance@exxonmobil.com.
I would strongly recommend contacting them for statement, so that you can check the number of hours (unused vacation days) used as the basis, their calculations (hourly salary rate) and the deductions made. I will be, as the payment I received is some $4K less than I was expecting.
Good luck, everyone !
If you left in July like the many others, you should have received your pay-in-lieu of vacation no later than 45 days after your last day worked. Contact your Admin or the Benefits department. Typically a good Supervisor works with the Admin on the Separation checklist which includes processing payment of any unused vacation.
Still waiting on mine but admin confirmed the payout was approved. If you don't get it before the end of the month - give your admin a call.
Got it all direct deposited on Friday plus a statement in the mail today.
All and all, almost 4 full months of pay. I start my new job in December, so it all worked out.
Happy to be done and done.
No one left in July - the Vacation payout is sent after your last day on payroll.
Unless you opted not to receive the 3-month PiL and just packed your bags in July.
PiL payments ended on Oct 31.
Got mine this past Friday Nov. 13 via direct deposit as formerly with payroll.
I was emailed and postal mailed by the company for the Vacation payout payment.
Only taxes taken out.
No other removals like Med Ins, United Way, Group Life - that's all done.
Regarding number of days - this was to have been agreed with your Admin prior to your leaving the office. But could have been worked with Payroll also - more tediously.
Does anyone know if payroll is pulling the time left from SAP or another process used to calculate the time?
Yes 8 hours for each working day.
Called today, will pay on Nov 20th for F&L. Don’t forget to ask for a breakdown.
How is vacation pay calculated? Do they just 8 working hours for each business day?
Just received it this past Friday. It was deposited in my bank account. I had to call Payroll to get a statement. 1-800-262-2363, option 4, then option 2. You will need your employee number. Sad my last payment from EM.
Still waiting on mine as well.
I just got mine
