Is that what the Involuntary Program is being referred to as? The Exxonmobil Bone Us Program?
Good one!
We will know in next 3 weeks whether there are EBU and RSU grants this year. Hopefully it will be near zero, until profitability is restored. If I was on board (they are paid with RSU and Dividends, not cash), I would require ROCE be above 7% before any EBU and RSU grants are made
Bone us....heh-heh, heh-heh.
I spent just under ten years as CL26/27. Several times I was ranked top 10% and received RSU, restricted stock unit. The largest was 200 units of XOM stock, half would vest after three years and the other half after seven years. You do receive the dividends for the unvested shares quarterly. If you quit, the unvested shares revert back to the company.
Suddenly, PIPed in July and left with PiL. I did get the dividend in September, but now that the three month PiL is over, I assume that my invested RSUs have reverted back to the company.
While people don't go around bragging for obvious reasons, if you are ranked high you get a stock bonus each year. This is even for non executive level people. I was surprised when I first heard about it. The bonus can be quite significant. Apparently it is good to be a high flyer.

I worked in Houston my entire career. Hired on without a college degree. Today and for many years that is/was unheard of.
Or you work in USA. They do bonus in other parts of the world.
I worked for EM for 40.5 years.
I never got any bonus.
Guess I was a peasant employee.
