I think we always need people to ask questions (audit).
Why is audit hiring now?
Good question on what extent the department is immune to downsizing as I always thought the department to be a safe and stable place to go to. I had assumed that the only cuts would have come from the divesture of Speedway. The audit program would shrink in size thus fewer auditors needed.
How many in audit were impacted by the downsizing we just went thru?
Audit is a cost center - not a special department by any means. Impacted by layoffs
