Copilot hands always have a higher rate than directional driller because they are multi skilled.
I once new a consultant copilot hand charging $1500 per day, not in TX though.

$700 a day for copilot? BHGE must be losing $699 a day just on that hunk of sc-ap alone.

Rates for MWD have been as low as $125 per day onshore Turkey and Muddle East, and no per diem. Mainly taken by ex Baker Italian personnel.

In Texas Baker is paying me as lead DD $325 / day. Not great.
The MWD hand says he's getting $525 per day, but I think he is sh–ting me.
The Copilot hand gets $700 / day.
