I hear the salaried MPC Alaskans are getting a pay cut? anybody else ?

MPC wont pass up an opportunity to piss people off. Cutting pay wasn't enough so the had to screw with people’s schedules as well. I always knew Tesoro/Andeavor was a special place to work... thanks MPC for screwing it up
The cuts were only Alaska employees.
It was never theirs to take away in the 1st place. When Shelia hired on in 2012, she hired on for $xxx. When Tesoro purchased Western Refining, they created the Geo-diff out of thin air to equalize staff at Western Refining with staff at Tesoro Alaska. Ie. Staff at Western Refining were making 85% of Tesoro Alaska staff. And now, 9 years later, Marathon reduces the Geo-diff of Tesoro Alaska staff. That’s not fair to Shelia who left her old job to work for Tesoro at an agreed salary of $xxx. If the reduction was made across the board ... that would be a different story. But Shelia’s getting screwed.
Is that only Alaska or will Anacortes and LAR also take hits to their geo diff?
They are cutting the geo diff from 15% to 10%. In April it will go down to 12.5% and then in April 2022 it will go down to 10%.
