I recently left Staples, but I stopped by this forum to see what was going on. So I came across a post on one of the threads here in which someone says that it is noticeable that workers put in minimal effort.
The lack of interest in Staples`s future is permeating from top down. Most people these days view their job as a paycheck only putting in minimum effort. Sad to see because it used to be a great company where most associates went above and beyond to make it successful.
OK, working that way might be easier to bear everything that's going on within the company, but when I think about it a little better - isn’t it actually harder to work like that, without any motivation and passion for work?
It was harder for me like that. I could no longer stay in this stupid company, I was looking for almost ANY OTHER job to leave.
And I don't agree that this used to be a great company, I don’t remember that, but I do remember how much the company negatively affected my health. Fortunately, life does not end with Staples.
