How does a company fail to clear a low (negative) bar that they’ve intentionally guided to lead the market to expect “lousy”?
And then deliver “worse than lousy”? Time and time again.

It's a Catch 22, people won't be able drive and travel and burn fuels until we get things under control from a total case perspective. It's not just state restrictions but hesitancy on the population as well. Build confidence in the government and people doing the right thing and we can get out of this sooner.
Agree on the Covid thing whether you were kidding or not. It has got this country on our knees, and certain political and medical leaders are talking of a six week shutdown. I would say we as a country may not recover from this for another year. People need to be out driving and travelling and burning the fuels required to keep the oil prices up. We had a good stock bump from the vaccine news this week, but now our politicians are talking about only allowing a certain amount of dosages for the USA, and then allowing other countries to get it as well. More of a global approach as opposed to a USA first approach. Once we have a cure for Covid and the larger public gets the vaccine people will start going back to work, vacations, traveling, etc. Wear your mask at least.
It is all COVID! The leadership and all those VPs have nothing to do with the mess.
