When we release a new product we email staples info repeatedly and badger buyers to set up product. Sometimes they do and sometimes not... Regardless it takes months of pursuit.
Contrast this to Amazon...We set up all new releases on site ourselves with a plus content and write opening orders...
Amazon always has product on release.
Staples usually doesn’t.
It's frustrating.
Sooner or later associates, vendors, and customers will figure out Staples has no plans to grow let alone meet the needs of their customers. Sycamore has made all their money back, could care less about the company and have it on auto-pilot until they can offload it.
The lack of interest in Staples`s future is permeating from top down. Most people these days view their job as a paycheck only putting in minimum effort. Sad to see because it used to be a great company where most associates went above and beyond to make it successful.
