They are moving everything they can to India...IT, graphics, engineering, etc. The guy responsible for making these changers is Indian. You do the math.

The problem is that the work culture in India is different. Everything they do is predicated on fast and cheap to maximize profits. So basically they do everything half-assed. Eventually the company will start hiring people to fix the work that was done in India.

@1xwt, most engineering moving to India? They better add DR5, DESIGN REWORK, STAGE 1 and DR6, DESIGN REWORK, STAGE 2 to the design review process.

@1wgg That’s not the case at other companies. Both groups are more equally screwed.

@1wgc. It's a rarity that they ever cut management. They just demote them and push them around into other roles until things get better. The people that do the work though. Ya'll are screwed as usual.

Letting rotational engineers go is a terrible idea. What are they thinking??

What they should have done is cut salary before letting people go. Especially individuals who were doing a good job.

Which is what most companies are doing. This shows a lot about a company and how they care for their employees.

Got a question: When are management’s heads going to roll?

That is a typical starting point. Cutting low level people doesn’t help as much as cutting higher ups.
