I went to put in a review on Glassdoor and saw that the company is showing a hiring surge. How can a company do that when it has possible layoffs looming in the near future? Better question is, WHY are they doing this? I find it appalling. It shows a lack of regard for employees, even more so when it’s right around the seasonal holidays.

They’re pretending to hire. But the candidate pool must be in TX and must be a “diverse slate”. And Asians/Indians/Island nations don’t count. This means in MT/ISRM has to cast a wide net, and interview unqualified candidates which drags out the entire process.
AND they still may not let you extend the offer!

Really - if you’ve been in the work world for more than 10 minutes this is very easy to understand. Keep your skills up. Get out of your role what you desire. Move on when it’s time. (When you don’t get what you want or the company doesn’t want your skills anymore).
