It is highly contested about when the final round of 2020 layoffs will occur. Most want it by mid December. A few new leaders want it to be in January 2021 to be a kinder gentler new SWN. The list of individuals to be laid off are set and it’s leaning to a higher count then what’s being discussed on this vital news board here

It’s time for all you conspiracy theorists to give up on this layoff forum. There is no corporate fraud or layoffs going on at Southwest. Just concede to the master, stay locked down, and we’ll provide you the basics necessary to live modestly. You hear me? Come on man!
Layoffs are probably the new norm, better to just take it day by day and live your life because no matter where you go after, it’s always a possibility even if you’re a high performer.
Most field staff do t have the ability to “get laid”. Enough said. Many of you people will be laid off though due to cultural fit in the organization. In these cases, no severance will be offered.
Are layoffs expected for office staff only? I am hearing field staff are not being laid in next round.
