Okay, since I’m hearing this in the hallways and seen a thread about this, I’m going to address it here.
First of all, if you’re still employed by MPC, consider that a bonus. Second, MPC didn’t cut their pension or 401k match like some oil and gas majors have - consider that a bonus.
On what planet would a company who has lost billions and is currently borrowing money just to pay employees base salaries go ahead and fund a bonus and raise program? NO. You aren’t getting a bonus or a raise next year. So please. Stop. Asking.
