Thread regarding Fossil Inc. layoffs

Can we count on online sales?

Not sure Fossil can count on online selling either to make up for stores closing during crucial retail holidays - Fossil’s customer service and support has gone down the drain ever since it has been outsourced! Just look at customers reaching out for help on Fossil’s social media posts!
Fossil taking weeks to issue refunds on unfulfilled / canceled orders! Great way to run off your loyal customers!

I copied this from another thread ( +17HdkVBT ), because I couldn’t agree more. Customer support is no longer the same as before, in fact it’s worse than ever and so is customers’ rage.

Most of our retail locations were a liability even before Covid. Malls are dead. There’s no way with retail and our wholesale dead for online to makeup the difference. That’s why marketing bombards your inbox with ridiculous promotions. Sales are up because we’re desperately giving away product. Zero margin. Just unloading product no one really wants. The brand isn’t relevant anymore and won’t be until we get new leadership and a makeover.

What share of total business does DTC ecomm represent?

That's because Fossil is no longer focused on the US consumer. They outsourced the jobs where the revenue is coming from. Outsourced..
does that sound familiar to those of you left in the Richardson office? They want to continue doing business but with who exactly!
