I worked in the Shell corporate offices 4 years ago and started to offshore some of their daily tasks. The goal was to lower their costs and compete against smaller companies (i.e. overhead). They cried and fought thinking they were in charge and would show me how wrong I was. From the plant manager to the site controller I have to say this couldn’t happen to more arrogant and dumber business people.
It is a done deal now.
