Heard bonus pool is much smaller this year. Why ?
Or it means.... you were a person of color that is always underpaid or a woman just being brought up to the starting wage at the next level! Thus the person of color of woman still remain being underpaid at the new level... it’s the Qualcomm way!
On a promotion, you'd get the starting wages at the new level unless you were already close to or making more than the starting wages at the new level.
21% raise means you were making much lower at the earlier level. 8% raise means you were already closer in salary in your old level or making slightly more.
