Thread regarding ADP layoffs

They never targeted the lowest performers

The best employees were indeed targeted and then eliminated. No dead wood there. The intent was to save on labor costs and the best employees tended to make the highest salaries, so out they went. The fact that they took ADP's knowledge base with them went past the intelligence of the top leadership team. Whoops! Amazing ineptitude! Now ADP is paying the price. And how!

You hit the nail on the head, @5pug+17E8w0Wr.

F— ADP. They literally will push you out if you’re a top performer.

Newer employee here. I find adp to be cagey about career progress. They boast about flashy resources, but won’t set clear goals—or targets—or general timeframes even when asked. Managers aren‘t given much info to work off of from rH. Disappoints and demotivates. Favors tenure. And some bus. orgs. Wants credentials beforehand, hardly care while you’re in job— maybe because they have to pay or managers don’t have the cred. Want more labor from people in BRGs. All this even before pandemic.

I find this all funny. People trying to convince others how great ADP is and how great they have it at ADP. So, I say, look in the mirror and ask your self: "If things are so great, then why are folks still working?" I can say, I don't have to! I don't have to slave and wh–e myself to the terrible place that is ADP. But for the poor fools that are there and have to keep working for peanuts and trying to convince themselves that all is and will be ok, good luck!

Ha ha. New employees = low salary. New employee = low skill. New employee = slave labor.

Best employees best salary. Hmmm I think it’s more like more tenure equals bigger salary regardless of skill.

"They never targeted the lowest performers"

Of course not - all the exec's are still there. If they wanted to target the low performers they would have to layoff themselves.

They are not struggling, they are just greedy. The higher ups want all the money for themselves and as much of it as possible. ADP has money. They just do not want to spend it or share it with anyone lower than the execs. Welcome to capitalism. Welcome to America.

"I don't see carbon monoxide, so it can't be there!"

"I don't see coronavirus, it can't be there!"

"I don't see ADP's failed strategy, so it can't be there!"

  • @hpc+17Kqk13Y, Just because you are too lazy to do your own research, doesn't mean it's not true. Do your homework!

Where is the proof that ADP is struggling or having a tough time? I see a lot of posts of people saying ADP is failing, but how?
