That is really strange.. If the reason Giant Eagle is opening on Thanksgiving is to "Serve the community" why are the Getgo's staying closed? Maybe Giant Eagle only wants to serve half the community.

When I was with Giant Eagle, they also had me work inside the GetGo too. The pad sites (the gas stations in front of the actual store) were always open on holidays if the store was. It was the stand alone GetGo’s with no store attached to it or nearby that were always open regardless of holidays. Those too were also the non-union stores too. The only reason why I remember this much too is because they used to always email or fax to the GetGos which gas stations were opened or closed and I was the one who would have to pin it up.

Pure greed. And Giant Eagle wonders why they have over 3,000 job openings. Horrible company run by horrible people.
