Somebody mentioned this in another post and I think they've hit the nail on the head. We might not be having any more layoffs right now but come January, I'm betting you we'll be looking at another major round - depending on how holiday sales go. And frankly, I don't think it'll go too well.

Bose headphones aren't worth the high price. - they cut out a lot.
The in ear sports fall out. As weird as apple one are, they stay in.
The HTIB is ridiculous. too expensive for little gain.
The revolve, mini and micro are all cool speakers. At half price -

And the best product of this year is? The sport earbuds? Noise cancelling buds? Or do we still wanna milk the qc35!

If you are thinking about it, it's probably time to move on.
Does Bose have any consumer products for sale that aren't inferior to, and more expensive than, the competitors' products? Anything that isn't 3-5 years behind the curve?
I think everyone should expect another major layoff in January. Anyone who isn't actively looking elsewhere is taking a big risk.
