Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

The hpe way

hpe lays off the way people breathe. hpe considers laying off people as a completely normal way of doing business. They have for many years. Jobs and people are throwaway, disposable, and expendable to hpe leadership. It is what it is.

Who is this? Are you the hpe damage control person again? It seems like your point is that hpe is not really bad or incompetent, and that they are just like many other companies laying off.
They are bad and incompetent. And your efforts at making them seem like a regular company are really annoying. Go away.

MAKE USA COMPANIES GREAT AGAIN

For those of you who were impaceted by the "Efficiency Measures" implemented by HPE over the years just a thought. Usually the layoffs happened in one industry and the survivors are able to rebound and move into a equivalent or better job than previously had.

The current trend is now there are no safe havens of employment everyone company is looking to become more efficient. With the current crisis of the COVID Pandemic having the effect or Outsourcing Jobs from the office to the home it is accelerating the transitions of automation.

THE EXXON WAY

Exxon the Irving oil giant, which informed employees of its layoff plans during a presentation Thursday morning, said in a press release that the layoffs will take place through voluntary and involuntary programs. Exxon employs nearly 16,000 in the Houston area.

“These actions will improve the company’s long-term cost competitiveness and ensure the company manages through the current unprecedented market conditions,” Exxon said in a statement. “The impact of COVID-19 on the demand for ExxonMobil’s products has increased the urgency of the ongoing efficiency work.”
