Since Boeing is losing market share on all of their airplane product lines, this company has lost most of its competitive advantage.

China has been aggressively working in-country on being more independent from purchasing airplanes from the West (similar strategy as to the US being more energy-independent from OPEC arabic oil producing countries).

Even GECAS has a LOI/MOU to purchase China's COMAC C919 airplanes.

With Airbus's A319/A320/A321 NEO's having outsold/outbid/backlog orders greater than the family of MAX's, Boeing won't regain its market share.
