Feds didn’t like what they saw during the audit and decided to go back and look through years of finances. Certain people are sh–ting themselves right now. With any luck this will break up 301 and the company’s marriage. Which one of them will sing first in an attempt to save themselves? The blame game is strong with these clowns, finger pointing will be epic. This is getting good.

@1rtp+17BGwKJm, 30K workers doing what?
I was in a board meeting and they're really worry that the 301 is going to strike. Larry Culp said "Hey we're selling the steam business to the Chinese and don't really want to make steam turbines but if the 301 strikes where will be make the 5 steamers we need for combine cycles??? I mean we can't hire a 3rd party, make them in the EU, partner with Wuhan Boiler has part of the agreement or move it to greenville, we all know that. We have to have the 301, GE cant live without them!" Great job boys! The brass is c-apping bricks you should strike they have 0 options!!! 30k union workers back in Schenectady in no time!
@ttp+17BGwKJm, because of joining a union and a majority counts. If the MAJORITY of you want to strike over it do it. No one asked you to accept a role at GE under that (T-Rate) provision of this union contract. So please, as a shareholder, I'm asking you to do the work you signed up for at the pay agreed to by your union. A deal is a deal Sparky. Have a great day :-)
@ttp+17BGwKJm- they were the same for years. The only thing that changed by lowering the dues was took away was one complaint. That was for years is why do we pay the same dues as a legacy rate member? We only get half the perks?
The corruption is more than misappropriation of funds. That’s what’s going to get rid of the trash so we can form a real union. The part that hurts us the most are the sweetheart deals made behind closed doors, where they trade what’s best for the collective to do what’s best for them as individuals. The top 2 union officials with the most power don’t try to fight for us. They give the company what they want for favors and personal gain in return. The lay offs would not be possible without the current Consolidation Agreement. There are 2 union officer signatures on that agreement, none of them should have signed it. The 2 that signed it knew they were f-ing us and did not care. It’s all tied together. It’s time to clean house or we have no chance. They will keep making deals and signing agreements that hurt us while living a life of luxury in their overtaxed office space, expensive cars, and pretty boy clothes. Again, not all of them over there are corrupt, just the few with the most power and the ones who will do as they say like brainless henchmen.
@hfb+17BGwKJm, can you please care to post the truth. T-Rates dues ARE LESS than D-Rates as they are a functional of their reduced hourly rate.
@mxy+17BGwKJm, I agree, so why are folks so interested in all of this noise around the DOL audit of the union? Of course, if the union officials were corrupt there should be consequences, but how will any this save jobs?
The Sith Lord will break The 301. For they will be broken after this reduction and restructuring and the dark side will finally win in Schenectady. The empire will over power and crush the rebellion union scum after this next big wave of job cuts in 03/01/2021.
Do not be fooled by the wool of the sleeping sheep’s eyes. No union Jedi will stop the power of the empire.
Why do you think so many smart T Rates never came back! They knew the union would never fight for the topics the t rates wanted to address. Same union dues, for reduced pay, reduced retirement option, and reduced voice! That was never a union to the t rate! The dues the smart ones paid was a reduced voice fee. That is why many have not come back! That is why many walked out the door. The place is a scam and the t rates who think they made a successful career choice are in for it in March. Because of that BS sweet heart scam deal
The company is blowing smoke saying we have work! The demand is way off! We have no work just making parts for the big shut down
Assume the union is corrupt and in bed with company, how does this change the calculus around orders being way off compared to historical levels?
