@1rhs+17Am40Ul I think your communications skills may have been a factor. I had to read your post a couple of times before I understood what you were trying to say. Did you learn about paragraphs and punctuation in school?
Guys I was fired from Exxon after receiving coaching and counseling which is not disciplinary action just informative they had me finish off the shift and finish off the set of 2 more days than i got a call on my off day stating I was suspended isn't that (double jep). And now I received a phone call and they said i am fired reasoning is poor job performance which I was told I was doing very well in my field I'm so mad right now this is wrongful termination.
I know a guy who was fired for not clicking his mouse enough over a 3 day period. Take note: wiggling to keep Skype green is not enough. That's where we're at as a company right now.

Fire LOW PERFORMERs. usually people with low communication and low interpersonal skills...Also called TEAMWORK skills. Sometimes these are S—ing up skills also. If you lack these skills then you better be able to demonstrate real value added...PS Value is MONEY...not some BS technical improvement MOST OF YOU ADD NO VALUE (MONEY) to the bottom line.
What is being taken exception to? That people had to be fired or the wrong people were fired?

Oh, let’s not kid ourselves into thinking external parties actually care about XOM’s reputation. XOM is mostly known for the Valdez oil spill and denying climate change. No one actually cares how XOM is going about cutting headcount. Anyone who thinks if the outside world knows about how XOM is firing its employees, it will somehow save their jobs or change things for the better is delusional.
hire the innocent, fire the same innocent. That's what it is good at, reputation is devalued. I am getting out before others do, resume looks dirty now. Shouldn't have joined.
No one cares how ethical the employees are. If they s— at their job (NSI), then they need to go.
I know of one truly good, ethical employee who was fired—still can’t understand why.
