Anyone notice a surge in posts on Linkedin saying so and so just got a job with ExxonMobil!?
With some investigation, it's easy to see it's all for the BTC! GREAT!

Real life management sukers are the same way on LinkedIn.
Notice how when a high level EM manager or a VP posts something useless – there are always the same guys who will click "like" on their posts. We have a fellow technician supervisor in RTD sitting on LinkedIn looking to suk up to any ExxonMobil management as he/she may not be getting enough dosage of suking to management in person.
BTC will replace Spring. The Spring campus will be sold to Amazon, Tesla, or similar startup for stock in that company. The only value add in Spring is the real estate. Dealing with BTC will be very similar to IT. Most employees at Spring will be let go as there is no room for them at operating plants even after layoffs there.
XOM still hiring. We used to call this Highgrading the workforce. If XOM can hire someone better than a person already in the workforce., it is Better to hire good ones and fire the bad ones. This is not about LOYALTY, This is just GOOD BUSINESS. The FIRED Employee was given a chance, but due to Laziness or just BAD LUCK, they did not work out. If you are NSI or NI, GOODBYE. No Reflection on you. It might be just BAD LUCK. LEARN FROM IT AND MOVE ON. If you are truly a hard worker and smart, you will do well. I have never seen a person fired from XOM FAIL, XOM hires good people, wh do well in a company that does not have XOM hiring standards. Sometimes it takes a while to get a fresh start and recover, but almost all do well. Elsewhere you may be relatively ranked at the TOP.
Why don't they just move the Dallas headquarters there?

They are building a new campus for BTC? Is that a rumor or a fact?
Yes. Many BTC hires, a new Campus being built in India and plans for BTC employees to rotate to the USA to displace US workforce. Some techs are already training their replacements from the BTC.
