Sounds like OXY HR is monitoring this pretty heavily. Posts are being taken down even when nothing bad was said. I said OXY stock is going to zero and it deleted my post. What the heck, its true! Get a life, OXY HR!

Do you people ever think about the future or consequences? Whats going through your head when you affect someones career, family and health and run them out the company for being born differently? Do you actually think that's where it ends?
Maybe you should spend more time looking at things going on inside the company instead of caring what people say on here. There are so many employees that are treated poorly by managers/coworkers and too scared to speak up and lose their job.

Can't ban individuals, nor do we try. We also don't block IP address, nor do we try. We just make sure posts aren't slandering those who aren't publicly associated with the company and anything that violates the sites rules.
Again, this isnt anything new or different than other companies i have worked for and its also similar to what we do for a few other sites (i.e. glass door)
If oxy had any power over this site then karma troll would be gone for the things he said about watching people for payback and he’s still here. They can’t even get that joker banned.

Guys, come on. Oxy or any other company that is represented on this site does not have any access or right to IP addresses of posts, nor do they have any say in what posts get deleted. The Layoff has moderators and programs that check for things that violate site rules, like names or anything that could be interpreted as hate speech in this current woke climate (e.g. diversity topics getting deleted). Coincidentally it appears as if the most egregious stuff that would piss off Oxy HR gets deleted but in reality it's that egregiousness that violates site rules.
Do companies have access to IP addresses associated with posts? Should be limited to only thelay-off.com with companies recommending which posts to review.

I tested this.
Oxy HR doesn’t monitor this site. Data Analytics monitors it. My department removes posts all the time that we don’t like.
There are clear rules to abid by. Read them and understand what was said and what it violates.
Also, just to confirm HR does review this and a few other sites and asks the non affiliated site admins to review posts that violate privacy and / or any particular investigation. (100% sure of this)
There are hundreds of other companies on this site not related to oil and gas. Oxy does not delete postings! You can see people complaining at other companies about posts being removed. They have silent admins.
I have also noticed if I post from one internet IP the post gets deleted, if I post from another it stays. Anyone else noticing this? Pathetic OXY HR...
If Oxy HR is actually involved in this, that might be the single most significant thing they've ever accomplished.

They might be monitoring IPs. If I post from one internet source, they post seems to get deleted. From another, the post stays.
If there is no problem within Oxy, people won’t keep posting negative comments here. Freedom of speech. You won’t be able to stop all these! Solve the problems, rather than trying to cover up the facts on public forum.
I’ve noticed it too! It’s clearly OXY HR monitoring this site and throwing a fit. What a useless group and a waste of company money!
