Now hitting most employees that have been there for years. Looking at every aspect of your employment record to see what negative items that they could lay you off for so it will not look age related. Even if it was something 10 years ago and you have met or exceeded expectations every year since. Canon is hurting due to poor management decisions and not from dedicated employees.

Canon va continues with there simple minded thinking, the idea that technology and automation will cure all problems. When the result is hard working employees left there have to suffer more because of useless unreliable automation. Getting rid of unreliable automation and overpaid engineers could easily offset cost of keeping hard working employees!!
