A lot of rumors floating around at North Belt about more lay offs in October. Any body has more info?

They are about to hire 4 to 6 more people for evening shift in the next month or so
Sperry software is hiring. Replace all the worthless ones who post on here who thought they were better than everyone else.
NB Mfg is hiring on technicians. Cuts were too deep, maybe they will lay off worthless leads and Managerial staff.
Not sure why so much hatred. We love it here in Singapore. Certainly one of the better companies to work in.
LAY ME OFF I HATE WORKING HERE ANYWAYA
The more layoffs and less headcount from NB the greater chance of survival.
The pyramid has too many levels.
Drink the punch, do the CI initiatives, do the HSE tasks, do the E4, chant the Halliburton theme song and everything will magically be okay.
Glad to see Halliburton was right in laying off little b–ches who hold a grudge even though they say they are better off yet still cry about it...... like little b–ches!
Glad to see so many current employees see this sham company for what it is: garbage. Believe me, getting laid off is awesome. I keep coming back here even after getting laid off and finding a better job, because of how glad I am to no longer be a part of this POS company. And right now unemployment is very good because of COVID! Take the time to find a company that actually values you. Or take the time to improve your skillset to move to a better job.
If you look at the history, Halliburton has always had layoffs during the Holiday season, even in times not as bad as this. The forecast for O&G is not good even through 2021. There are definitely areas Halliburton could reduce headcount and not suffer too much. There is way too much overhead in the global PSL's. Not sure what they are all doing now anyway with the lack of work. Halliburton really is in trouble, although management will never admit to it. Halliburton Labs is a real joke. I can't imagine that initiative even getting off the ground.
Will it be as bad as this spring time letting go hundreds of people or not that bad?
Halliburton could save some serious money if they would close NB and auction it off. Everyone is working from home anyway...
I been hearing the same thing for HDBS
Is it just NB? Still a lot of work in Singapore.
Tried to learn as much as possible for the past 3 years. But the demands from management is getting more and more unrealistic.
Its not being ungrateful of God blessings for a job during this difficult times...
bring it Sperry Software. I hate the POS managers
Can’t wait,
Held on as long as possible.
Now I wouldn’t keep me around, I’m tired, burnt out, and ineffective.
It’s happening
bring it. Its time for me to leave this dead end job
Same here. Bring it. I need to work for a company with a future
Hate to admit it but it makes sense. Our stock is doing so bad and it hasn’t had any signs of recovery.
Maybe we need to relocate to Singapore to keep our jobs.
Bring it. This sh!t is getting old. The dead weights sitting at home working from home isn't doing anything maybe it's time to cut them loose.
