You had to know that all of those free, Mrs. Fields cookies were going to lead to reduction in headcount.
SP is everything wrong with Staples & Quill. Quill used to have the best sales team in the company but people like him and his clown minions drove away all of the good talent and leaders. But SP plays the part, is non confrontational and is happy to parrot the company line.
No way, SP is a visionary. Honestly, guy should be put out to pasture, world had passed him by. Congratulations to all the Staples.com “leaders” who couldn’t even manage to hit the EBITDA target when EVERYONE is buying online. Impressive to say the least.
